Tabitha & Trent

Our Love Story
In 2017, fate brought Tabitha and Trent together as housemates—but not without a little resistance. Tabitha was firmly against the idea of a new housemate, dreading the thought of sharing her bathroom with a stranger. Despite her protests, the rest of the household convinced her to give Trent a chance, assuring her it would only be for two months.
Two months later, they were inseparable, and Trent never left. Their connection grew stronger, leading them to move out together and embark on a new adventure in London, where they spent two years living and traveling. After the challenges of COVID, they returned to Australia and settled in Sydney, where they built their life together over the next three years.
It was during their third year in Sydney that they decided to take an unforgettable trip through Indonesia, the Philippines, and New Zealand. While exploring New Zealand’s rugged landscapes, they set out to climb Duke’s Nose, a demanding and unexpectedly treacherous hike in the country’s northernmost region. The climb tested their endurance with slippery, muddy trails and sections that required actual rock climbing. Tabitha fell multiple times along the way, but they pushed through, finally reaching the summit—and the breathtaking view that awaited them.
As they stood together, looking out over the stunning scenery, Trent got down on one knee and proposed. In a twist of pure serendipity, the only other two people at the summit happened to be a wedding photographer and a content creator, who captured the moment beautifully—completely unplanned and out of the kindness of their hearts. A proposal that had already felt surreal became even more magical, setting the perfect tone for the next chapter of their love story.
The Day
Tabitha and Trent’s wedding was nothing short of an unforgettable celebration. The entertainment was undoubtedly the highlight of the night, with the couple and their guests spending the entire evening on the dance floor. Their sax player and DJ, Harry, set the tone with high-energy music that kept the crowd moving, while Andrew Loadsman delivered a phenomenal vocal performance. Andrew’s interactive approach had guests singing into the mic, dancing on chairs, and fully immersing themselves in the experience. Together, Harry and Andrew created an electric atmosphere, making it the best party the newlyweds had ever attended.
For the styling, Tabitha envisioned a look that was classical, elegant, and minimal—whites with subtle touches of gold for a timeless aesthetic that would complement her dress and create an effortlessly beautiful setting.
Like any wedding, the day had its unexpected challenges. Tabitha faced dress issues, their car broke down, and difficulties arose with their venue’s wedding producer. But once the celebrations began, none of it mattered. Wrapped in the joy of the day, everything fell into place, and the couple found themselves in a happy, carefree bubble where only the love and excitement of the moment existed.
A key figure in ensuring the day ran smoothly was their stylist, Jess from Jessica Alderton Events. She became Tabitha’s go-to for everything, stepping in when support was lacking elsewhere. Not only was she an exceptionally talented florist, but she also handled the entire setup and pack-down, allowing the couple to be fully present without any logistical worries. Her guidance, problem-solving, and seamless execution made all the difference, easing stress and bringing their vision to life.
Looking back, Tabitha and Trent would tell any future couple the same thing: things will go wrong, but their wedding day will still be the most magical experience of their lives. With the right people by their side, everything came together, creating a day they will cherish forever.
